Red Oak Music Series

The Lime Hollow Nature Center and the Center for the Arts of Homer have partnered together to present the Red Oak Music Series – a new outdoor, family- friendly, FREE monthly music series running from April to September 2022. Performances and outdoor activities will take place at Lime Hollow’s beautiful education campus at 3277 Gracie Rd.    

The following dates and performers have been scheduled (the event runs from 12 – 4pm each month) with potential for more performers and activities to be announced as the season unfolds. 

 


April 30 – Colleen Kattau & Dos XX

Colleen is an award-winning bilingual vocalist songwriter who stirs listeners with her clear voice, collective spirit and rhythmic sensibility.


May 21 – Austin MacRae and Jen Cork

Folk troubadour Austin MacRae, who was dubbed by local critic John Tierney as the “Balladeer of the Southern Tier.”
Ithaca, NY based singer-songwriter Jen Cork has a passion for dirt, rubble, and the intersection of nature and mechanical objects.

June 25 – Cloey Tierno
Dan Forsyth & Joe Kollar (of Driftwood)

July 23 – Chasing Neon and Jon Rogalia

Chasing Neon is a band from CNY featuring a big mix of country, classic rock, and in between.
Jon Rogalia is an American Singer/Songwriter, Recording Academy Voting Member, Independent Music Award Nominee, and National Recording artist.

August 27 – PeoplePeople and Doug & Eamonn Hubert

PeoplePeople is an original rock band out of Cortland, NY. Mixing styles of blues, jazz, reggae, funk, and psychedelic rock.

Doug & Eamonn are a dynamic father and son duo performing classic rock, blues, folk, and occasionally Irish covers. From America to Guns & Roses, they’ll rock your socks off!

September 17 – Tribal Revival 

An eclectic blend of roots ‘n soul and rock n roll. Bending and shaping classic works into our mixin.

Refreshments, field games, and other activities will take place each month during the event, and hiking, picnicking, and exploring are encouraged. Admission is free (donations will be accepted to support programs at Lime Hollow and the Center for the Arts).
