LESSONS WITH KYLIE

Kylie finds it deeply fulfilling to research new techniques that will benefit her students. She enjoys teaching ear training with students of all skill levels and has created a curriculum that helps her clients to gradually develop the ability to analyze melodies on the spot using the solfege system. She also deeply enjoys helping clients to discover their ability to match pitch after believing they are ‘tone deaf’. A typical lesson will involve reinforcement of healthy technique, music theory study, refining repertoire, and creative exploration such as improvisation or songwriting. She is experienced in many genres such as classical, jazz, broadway, and rock, and uses classical and contemporary methods to help students to achieve their musical goals.
