Learning the flute should be joyful, empowering, and welcoming at every age. My studio is a supportive space where students can grow at their own pace, build confidence, and discover the fun and creativity of making music.

Who I Teach
I welcome students ages 7 and up, from complete beginners to advanced players. For ages 7–10, I often recommend starting on a NUVO flute (younger students) or Jupiter Waveline flute for easier playing.
About two-thirds of my students are in grades 3–12, with the rest ranging from post-college adults to retirees. No one is ever too old to start! One of my students began at age 80 and now plays at a junior high level—proof that dedication, patience, and curiosity lead to success and joy.
